Garage Sales

For a long time now garage sales have fascinated me as a rich source for photography.

Imagine looking at the prized possessions that onced belonged to someone and capturing the very uniqueness of that object.

My photographs attempt to show garage sale articles as they are: lying on a table, propped up next to a box, and even sitting alone on the ground.

Looking at my photographs I would hope that you would walk away with a sense of how important these item might have been for their owners.
Did this garage sale junk mark a special occasion in their owner's life or has this junk been passed on for generations never really finding a true home?
